Lawyers in the civil liberties team at GT Stewart joined other members of the legal profession and campaigners outside the Royal Courts of Justice today as part of Extinction Rebellion’s International Rebellion. They, along with other members of Lawyers for Extinction Rebellion, declared the climate and ecological emergency and named the failings of the legal profession and the legal system as a key contributor to this crisis. They invited all in the law to join them to sow the seeds for change in the legal system to address these issues.
