GT Stewart represented B at Westminster Magistrates’ Court who was due to stand trial, charged with the harassment of Anna Soubry MP.
B was initially charged with harassing Anna Soubry MP on two occasions, during which he was part of a group which pursued her along the street shouting terms such as ‘traitor’, ‘disgrace’ and ‘Nazi’. District Judge Emma Arbuthnot afforded B full credit for his plea and took into account his good character before sentencing him to to 4 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.
