croydon law court

We represented JM who was charged with numerous firearms offences in what has been described as ‘one of the Met’s largest ever seizures of ammunition and explosive substances in recent times’ with over 3,000 rounds of ammunition being recovered. JM was alleged to have conspired to sell firearms and ammunition with his 6 co-defendants. Following a 36 day trial at Croydon Crown Court, JM was unanimously acquitted of all 14 counts.

Central to the prosecution’s case against JM was fingerprint evidence and cell site evidence. We instructed experts in both areas to challenge the prosecution’s evidence.

JM was represented by John-Paul MacNamara at trial, instructed by senior solicitor, Len Hodkin.
