Harriet is a Trainee Solicitor in GT Stewart’s Civil Liberties team, carrying out a range of actions against public authorities including civil claims for false imprisonment, assault and malicious prosecution, as well as inquests into deaths involving state authorities, and public law challenges.
Harriet is passionate about protecting the rights of her clients and ensuring that the police, prison service, and immigration authorities protect those who are in their custody rather than subjecting them to further harm. Since graduating from university, Harriet has worked in this field at GT Stewart Solicitors, Birnberg Peirce and the Centre for Women’s Justice. She has a particular interest in discrimination and violence against women.
